Introduction
Department of MARATHI started in 1961 with 6 units at UG level which has flourished into graduate & post graduate department due to well defined aims and objectives. PG start in 1975. Our PG Department is one of the few Granted PG Departments in University of Mumbai. The Marathi Literary association provides a forum to the students for extra and co-curricular activities such as Story writing, Poetry readings, elocution, dramatics, debates and essay writing.
