Introduction
The department has well equipped and specious laboratory. Department have well qualified dedicated and efficient faculty staff.
Salient Features of the Department
1) Students are motivated and guided for competitions, which helps them in improving their experimental skills, writing, interpretation and presentation skills.
2) Every year, department also conduct student centric activities like co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students to enhance their skills. They are also encouraged to participate in research activities like Research Convention organised by the University of Mumbai every year.
3) Botanical excursions are also organised every year by the department to introduce students to flora of different localities. Botany department also monitors campus beautification as well as establishment Botanical Garden and Medicinal plant garden for educational purpose.
